We have an opening for an ambitious real estate investment professional to join our team and lead the real estate investment management arm for a family office. The position will primarily focus on investments in real estate assets within economic opportunity zones, but can extend into other areas as favorable opportunities arise. Assets can be across multiple asset classes, but the fund is primarily focused on multi-family, hotel & hospitality, and senior living facilities. The candidate will have an exceptional ability in researching, sourcing, analyzing, structuring, negotiating, closing, tracking, and monitoring real estate investments and brings a strong network to do co-investment deals.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop in-depth understanding of opportunity zones, including the regulatory environment and identifying the most favorable areas for investing

• Analyze new acquisitions / development opportunities and prepare financial analysis on the viability of each transaction across multiple financing structures

• Prepare presentation materials and documents related to the transactions being evaluated

• Assist in sourcing new acquisition opportunities by developing and maintaining relationships with local developers, investors, brokers and other real estate professionals

• Do on-site visits and other due diligence, as required

• Monitor deals to ensure proper tracking and investment returns

   

  Experience and salary:

• 1-3 years of experience in real estate, any real estate related fields and/or analyzing real estate transactions

• Excellent Excel skills and ability to develop real estate financial models

• Excellent research, analytical and presentation/communication skills

• Ambitious, driven, self-motivated and detail-oriented

• Ability to create structure in an unstructured environment

• Understanding of opportunity zones is a plus

• Experience evaluating and investing in multi-family, hotel/hospitality, and/or senior living facilities is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
